Red Rocks safety concernsRe: “Hail-injured concertgoers criticize venue,” June 24 news storyAll these concertgoers accusing Red Rocks managers of criminal negligence have access to the same technology to check weather forecasts, and it sits in the pocket of nearly every ticket holder — a weather app on their cell phone. “Green business is good business:” Developer marks milestone on carbon-positive hotel

Developers of a project billed as the country’s first “carbon-positive” hotel placed the last beam on the building Wednesday and said the hotel in downtown Denver will be open for business around June 2024.The 13-story Populus hotel by Urban Villages will be highly visible not only because of its location — next to Civic Center park — but also because of its design. Studio Gang, which is based in Chicago and has projects around the world, is the hotel’s architect. The exterior “lids” of the windows will shade the interior and channel rainwater to keep the facade looking fresh, according to Studio Gang’s website.Another feature that Denver-based Urban Villag...

Compher will go to the open market as an unrestricted free agent July 1 and is unlikely to reach a new contract agreement with the Avalanche, a source told The Post on Wednesday. So look, if you want to hear Doors songs performed by one of the originals, these three shows at the Whisky are one of the least remaining ways to go. If you attend the Monday show, celebrated Doors tribute Wild Child will be opening.
